Report
REDCAR are through to the MAXiCAB KO Cup semi-finals after a 53-37 win over Berwick for a 12-point aggregate victory.
The Bears overturned their four-point first leg deficit in the space of three races at the ECCO Arena, although the Bandits kept in touch and a 5-1 from Craig Cook and Peter Kildemand in Heat 13 meant they trailed by just four on aggregate.
However, Danny King was involved in 5-1s for Redcar in the final two races, combining first with reserve Tom Spencer and then with Erik Riss as the hosts made it through.
King scored 13+1 from five rides with Riss (12) dropping his only points when he fell in Heat 13. Cook was top scorer for the Bandits with eight.
