Report
EDINBURGH moved off the foot of the WSRA NDL table with a 58-31 win over Scunthorpe which also saw them collect the aggregate point.
Dayle Wood scored a 14+1 paid maximum for the Monarchs Academy, who clinched the maximum haul with a 5-1 from Wood and Connor Coles in Heat 15 to overturn a 24-point deficit from the reverse fixture.
Edinburgh boss Scott Wilson said: “I was really pleased to get the aggregate point in the first one, we haven’t won too many matches this year but I did say to the boys on the track walk that with Scunthorpe being understrength we could smell blood, and they got the lead and kept building on it and building on it, so I was really pleased with that performance.”
