Report

OXFORD captain Luke Killeen raced to a 12-point maximum as the defending WSRA National Development League champions picked up a comfortable win over Middlesbrough.

The Chargers won 55-34 with Killeen’s score from four rides matched by Jason Garrad from five, whilst Jody Scott scored 11+1 and was unbeaten after being disqualified from his first outing.

Ben Trigger led the way for the Tigers with nine points, and Danny Phillips picked up eight.

Killeen said: “It wasn’t just my first maximum for Oxford, but also my first maximum in league racing altogether. It’s been a while coming, but I’m definitely happy with it and even happier that the Chargers won another meeting.

“Everyone got to the grips with the track today and we were scoring right down to our two reserves – I was stoked for them that they both had a good meeting.”
