SCUNTHORPE slammed Plymouth 62-28 at the Eddie Wright Raceway and will expect the aggregate point at the very least in tonight’s (Saturday) return in Devon.

Kyle Howarth scored a 15-point maximum as the Scorpions consolidated second spot in the Cab Direct Championship standings, whilst Connor Mountain added 11+1 in another powerful demonstration of home strength.

Remarkably the Gladiators’ reserves accounted for all but 12 of their team total as Joe Thompson scored 9+1 and Jacob Hook picked up 7+3.
