PLYMOUTH returned to winning ways by defeating Berwick 53-37 despite another setback for Ben Barker.
The Gladiators captain was withdrawn from the meeting after a Heat 7 crash but his team-mates still pulled off a victory over the Bandits.
Thompson twins Dan (12+1) and Joe Thompson (11) led the scoring for the hosts with guest Troy Batchelor contributing 10+1, whilst Lewis Kerr (10+2) and Jason Edwards (10+1) led the way for the Bandits.
The victory also gave the Gladiators the aggregate point as they added three points to their Cab Direct Championship total.
