EDINBURGH put in their best performance of the NDL season with a 59-31 win over Workington to take both match and aggregate points.

Jacob Hook scored a six-ride 17+1 paid maximum and Max Clegg was unbeaten from five rides with 14+1 – with their heat-leader dominance completed by Adam Roynon on 11 from four, whilst reserve Dayle Wood contributed 11+3.

Luke Harrison scored 10 for the Comets whilst guest Lee Complin was their only race winner when he defeated Roynon in Heat 11.

Clegg said: “That was what we needed, and we came up with the goods. It was a fantastic performance from everyone.

“Workington have some decent riders so we knew it wasn’t going to be an easy meeting, but we got the job done.”
