ROWE MOVES TO MONARCHS

EDINBURGH have moved quickly to sign Anders Rowe after he was released by Championship rivals Redcar.

Rowe joins the Monarchs in place of William Lawson following their home defeat to Poole on Friday.

He said: “I hadn’t really expected to lose my place, I was just getting back on my feet after my injury and getting back to how I was before my injury. I was feeling comfortable on the bike again.

“It will be pretty cool to come to Edinburgh. I’ve been at Armadale a couple of times, my visit early this year was my second.

“My Heat 1 was all right that night when I led Sam Masters till the last bend. After the race he told me what I’d done wrong, so it will be good for me to ride with him!”
