PREVIEW: REDCAR v POOLE (Champ)

REDCAR face Poole at the Ecco Arena tonight (Friday) in a clash of two sides currently in the Championship play-off places.

The Bears are sixth and have a 100 per cent home record going into the meeting, whilst the Pirates are one place and three points better off having won on the road at Oxford earlier in the season.

Redcar co-promoter Jamie Swales told redcar-speedway.com: “I am very confident about our chances on Friday. We have the riders that can do the job and get the win.”

“Poole are a tough side, but I believe in the capabilities we possess which makes me confident for the meeting.”

Pirates skipper Danny King said: “I am looking forward to the meeting, the track there is a nice shape, and it is always well prepared well.

“They have a solid team, but I fancy our chances in that we can go there and do a job. Obviously we are going to need to be on our game, but after (Wednesday’s) showing there is no reason to think that we can’t get something out of it.”

REDCAR: Charles Wright, Adam Roynon, Erik Riss, Kasper Andersen, Lewis Kerr, Jordan Jenkins, Jason Edwards.
POOLE: Danny King, Zach Cook, Steve Worrall, Ben Cook, Richard Lawson, Drew Kemp, Nathan Ablitt.
