PREVIEW: PLYMOUTH v POOLE (C-KOC)

POOLE No.1 Rory Schlein returns from injury in tonight’s (Tuesday) KO Cup first leg tie at Plymouth.

Schlein’s return means the Pirates are at full strength, but the Gladiators are still without Jason Crump and bring in Richard Lawson to guest at No.1. Meanwhile Luke Ruddick stands in for Henry Atkins at reserve.

Poole captain Danny King said: “I have had the opportunity to get some knowledge of the track down there having guested for Crumpie at the beginning of the month.

“It is a cool little track and I had a decent performance there so it is something to build on.

“I am pleased with what I have seen so far, especially with young Ben (Cook). He has really impressed me and I feel that he could have a big future in the sport.”

PLYMOUTH: Richard Lawson, Steven Goret, Zach Cook, Dillon Ruml, Bjarne Pedersen, Alfie Bowtell, Luke Ruddick.
POOLE: Rory Schlein, Zane Keleher, Steve Worrall, Stefan Nielsen, Danny King, Ben Cook, Danyon Hume.
