PREVIEW: GLASGOW v POOLE (Champ)

POOLE promoter Danny Ford is looking to make a statement of intent when his side travels to Glasgow tonight (Friday).

Former Pirates favourite Gary Havelock takes charge at Ashfield under the sharing scheme with Neil Middleditch which will see him undertake team management duties at northern venues.

Ford said: “I am sure things will feel a bit different on Friday racing without a crowd, but the occasion itself should be sufficient motivation for our lads.

“Glasgow have been strongly fancied for success this season so if we can go there and get a result then what a statement that would make.”

The meeting takes place behind closed doors but Glasgow are offering streaming coverage via tv.glasgowtigers.co.uk .

GLASGOW: Craig Cook, Broc Nicol, Ulrich Ostergaard, Justin Sedgmen, Ricky Wells, Sam Jensen, Jack Smith.
POOLE: Rory Schlein, Zane Keleher, Steve Worrall, Stefan Nielsen, Danny King, Ben Cook, Danyon Hume.
