PREVIEW: GLASGOW v BERWICK (CJL)

GLASGOW open their Championship Jubilee League campaign against Berwick at Ashfield tonight (Friday).

Boss Cami Brown has stressed this competition is very much a target with the Tigers also firmly in the fight for league honours.

He said: “The pressure isn’t off – the boys will still take it 100 per cent seriously and we want to do well in this tournament.

“Berwick won’t be pushovers, but if we can ride the way we have been at home we can get the win.”

The Bandits operate rider replacement for Jye Etheridge, although initial fears that he had broken an index finger proved unfounded and he could return for their home match on Saturday.

GLASGOW: Craig Cook, Danyon Hume, Ulrich Ostergaard, Benjamin Basso, Tom Brennan, Broc Nicol, Connor Bailey.
BERWICK: Chris Harris, Theo Pijper, Jye Etheridge, Ricky Wells, Leon Flint, Jonas Knudsen, Nathan Stoneman.
