PREVIEW: BIRMINGHAM v BERWICK (Champ)
BIRMINGHAM boss Laurence Rogers says team spirit is the key to success for his side as they prepare to face Berwick at Perry Barr tonight (Wednesday).
Rogers is delighted with the form of his side in recent meetings – even though scorelines have been too close for comfort in home meetings.
The Brummies name a full-strength side whilst the Bandits bring in Tom Brennan to guest at No.1 with Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen racing in the Danish League.
Rogers said: “Last week against Leicester I think many were not giving us much of a chance against a solid side, but we were determined to pull off another win and our team talks before and during the meeting were all positive and that showed on track.
“The team spirit we have is most evident. Just watch the lads before and after every race, out to support each other and they are a tight knit bunch who are a joy to work with.
“That is worth points even before we take to the track and we all bounce off each other.”
BIRMINGHAM: Erik Riss, Valentin Grobauer, James Shanes, Ashley Morris, Chris Harris, Paco Castagna, Jack Thomas.
BERWICK: Tom Brennan, Leon Flint, Jye Etheridge, Dany Gappmaier, Aaron Summers, Kasper Andersen, Kyle Bickley.
