PREVIEW: BERWICK v GLASGOW (CJL)
BERWICK will be without Danish youngster Jonas Knudsen for tonight’s (Saturday) Championship Jubilee League clash with Glasgow.
Knudsen’s visa paperwork is yet to come through, so the Bandits promote Greg Blair from their NDL team to fill the space at reserve.
The Tigers are without Craig Cook after his crash at Edinburgh, but SON2 duo Tom Brennan and Benjamin Basso return to the side.
Bandits boss Gary Flint said: “We did inquire about other ways of getting temporary permission for Jonas to enter the country and ride – including a second PPEV – but nothing was available to us.
“The only plus from it is that Greg, who has been chomping at the bit all season, gets his opportunity in Bandits colours.
“He took a big knock against the Lion Cubs last week but is fit and raring to go.”
BERWICK: Chris Harris, Theo Pijper, Jye Etheridge, Ricky Wells, Leon Flint, Greg Blair, Nathan Stoneman.
GLASGOW: Craig Cook r/r, Danyon Hume, Ulrich Ostergaard, Benjamin Basso, Tom Brennan, Broc Nicol, Connor Bailey.
