PIRATES PLAN SUMMER SPECTACULAR
POOLE are applying specially reduced admission prices for Wednesday’s vital Championship clash with Redcar at Wimborne Road.
The Pirates can still finish second in the table to secure qualification for the play-off semi-finals, whilst the Bears are entering a big week in their quest to confirm a top six spot.
Admission for the meeting has been cut to £10 for adults, OAPs and concessions, with a £6 student rate and free entry for all under-16s.
Co-promoter Danny Ford said: “It is our intention to make it a vibrant family atmosphere here on Wednesday and we are hoping to see many new faces attending.
“We are planning lots of side attractions to support the main event. We will be starting with an autograph session which all our riders will attend and provide the chance for selfies, between the third and fourth turns.
“We will be giving away free posters which the riders will be happy to sign and we will be opening the gates at the earlier time of 6pm to accommodate this meet and greet session, which will run through until 6.30pm.”
Pirates are also giving away free whistles to the first 200 children admitted, and are hosting a free kids’ face-painting service.
