POOLE will race at home to Kent this Wednesday before taking another three weeks off at Wimborne Road.
The Pirates have called off a high-profile home clash with Glasgow which was set for July 14 following confirmation that there will be no early easing of current restrictions.
Co-promoter Matt Ford said: “It is always disappointing to postpone meetings, but we find ourselves in a position of having to do so.
“We know that crowd levels under the Covid-19 restrictions are not sustainable, but also we want to give all of our fans the opportunity to attend live racing.
“In agreement with the Glasgow promotion we have taken this action now that it is clear that our faint hopes have been dashed for a gradual easing of restrictions under the Covid-19 measures.
“I can only encourage supporters who have yet purchased tickets for Wednesday night to do so without delay, whilst there is still availability, as it will be a long three weeks without a home meeting.”
