MONARCHS & BEARS TRY AGAIN

EDINBURGH and Redcar will make another attempt to resolve their Championship play-off quarter-final on Tuesday.The scheduled second leg at Armadale on Friday was abandoned after the first running of Heat 1, which was stopped when the Bears’ James Sarjeant crashed into the second-bend fence.

Sarjeant was reported to have suffered a dislocated knee, and the Monarchs’ private ambulance was required to take him to hospital with other solutions investigated but not proving possible.
