LIONS RETAIN SPONSOR BACKING

LEICESTER have been handed the major boost of a two-year extension to their deal with main team sponsors Watling JCB.

Andy Raine of Watling JCB was on hand at Grace Road, home of Leicestershire County Cricket Club, to reveal the news with co-owner Marc Bates and co-promoter Stewart Dickson at the club’s awards night last weekend.

Said Bates: “We cannot thank Andy and all at Watling JCB enough for their support.

“Sponsorship is such a vital part of professional sport, and we value their backing of Leicester Speedway.

“We always try to carry their identity in a professional manner, and it’s great to have them on board for 2022 and 2023.”
