KINGS HIT TOP FORM

KENT raced to their biggest win since joining the Championship with a 57-33 victory over Berwick at Central Park.

Skipper Scott Nicholls scored a 12-point maximum from four rides whilst Paul Starke (11) and Ben Morley (10+1) were both in double figures in an impressive Kings performance.

Aaron Summers picked up nine for the Bandits with Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen their only other heat winner.

Berwick boss Gary Flint said: “We did find it tough early on with only Leon (Flint) and Kyle (Bickley) knowing the track, but it was much better in the latter part of the meeting although sadly we were out of it by them. On to Birmingham now tomorrow, tough.”
