COMPLIN JOINS TIGERS

GLASGOW are closing in on their full line-up for 2023 after announcing the signing of Lee Complin to take a reserve berth.

38-year-old Complin will team up with youngster Ace Pijper in a fascinating mix at Ashfield, having come back into the sport this year after an 11-year absence.

He said: “I wanted to sign for a team that has the same ambition that I have. I want to prove myself.

“Speaking to the team manager Cami Brown, he told me that the one thing they want is to win the Championship.

“I will be paired with Ace, he’s obviously a really good young rider. We’ll learn to ride together. But my ambition is not to stay at reserve. This is just another stepping-stone for me to show Glasgow that I mean business.

“I’ve always liked the Glasgow track, one of my favourites, so I’m really up for it.”
