BRUMMIES MOVE FOR ELLIS
BIRMINGHAM have pulled off the signing of reigning British Champion Adam Ellis.
The 26-year-old, who won the National League with the club in 2015 and had a further spell at Perry Barr four years later has agreed to join the Brummies and completes their side for the coming season.
However, due to a prior league commitment for Ellis in France this weekend, Birmingham have named Ben Morley as a member of their team for Saturday’s KO Cup clash at Leicester.
Brummies boss Laurence Rogers: “It really is amazing news for the club. Adam was always on our list of potentials but we had to wait for a few things to fall into place.
“We hit a few pitfalls along the way and we’ve had to be patient with one or two things, but he’s a Brummie again and that’s all that matters.
“He’s a top quality rider at this level and to bring the British Champion to Birmingham is big, big news.”
