BRUMMIES CHASE FINAL THREE
BIRMINGHAM boss Laurence Rogers knows the three riders he wants to complete his team.
Rogers has identified the three candidates and is in talks with the trio, and hopes to reach a conclusion soon ahead of the new Championship campaign.
He said: “I’m talking to all three riders and we are getting there, it’s just a case of getting everything down in writing.
“I’m confident the team I have in mind will make the play-offs in the first year of the new consortium.
“We will have a nice balance about the team and my plan is to have Stefan Nielsen and Ashley Morris starting the season at reserve.
“I really cannot see a stronger reserve pairing than that, and the good thing is if one of the top five is hurt or is off-form then the boys at reserve can step in.”
