BJARNE MAX BEATS BEARS

PLYMOUTH made it back-to-back home wins over play-off chasing sides by edging out Redcar 46-43 at the Coliseum.

Bjarne Pedersen completed a paid maximum in a last-heat decider having previously combined with Jason Crump for a 5-1 in Heat 13 to put the Gladiators back in front.

Pedersen scored 14+1 with both Crump and reserve Alfie Bowtell winning two races apiece, whilst Jake Allen racked up 16 from six rides for the Bears who took a league point from the meeting.
