KENT maintained their upturn in form with a comfortable 56-34 victory over Newcastle at Central Park.

Troy Batchelor (13+2) raced to a five-ride paid maximum for the Kings with Paul Starke adding 11 points as the home side dominated.

Reserve Adam Roynon collected 9+1 for the Diamonds who operated rider replacement for the injured Matthew Wethers.
