BANDITS MOVE FOR WELLS

BERWICK have pulled off the signing of American ace Ricky Wells – just days after he appeared for Glasgow in the Championship Grand Final.

Wells joins Chris Harris in a much-changed top order at Shielfield Park, with Leon Flint and Kyle Bickley also confirmed starters for 2022.

Manager Gary Flint said: “Things are coming together for the upcoming season better than we could have imagined at this stage, and the signing of Ricky Wells is another massive step forward. This really helps us visualise that all important goal of making the play-offs.

“Ricky is the ultimate professional on and off the track and we feel he fits in perfectly with the dynamic of our new-look Bandits team.

“Wells was the very man that we wanted in this side, and we were delighted when he agreed to become a Berwick Bandit for 2022.”
