ZISCHKE STAYING WITH COMETS

AUSTRALIAN talent Tate Zischke has agreed to return for a third season with Workington in 2026.

20-year-old Zischke enjoyed a hugely impressive debut campaign with the Comets last year, which was brought to a halt by serious injuries sustained in a crash in July.

He was back for the full Cab Direct Championship campaign in 2025, achieving a final average of 5.76 after going through a lengthy recovery process.

Zischke, who is a favourite amongst Comets fans, joins new signing Jonas Jeppesen as a confirmed starter at the GT Tyres Arena next season.
