ZISCHKE BACK FOR COMETS

TATE Zischke has been confirmed as Workington’s first signing for the 2025 season.

The Australian youngster made a huge impression in his debut Cab Direct Championship campaign, but he was ruled out with injury after a serious crash at Belle Vue in early July.

Comets promoter Andrew Bain said: “We are all delighted Tate is back next year. He has quickly become a fan favourite here and some of his rides around Northside this year were out of the top drawer.

“It’s a shame how 2024 ended for him, but all he needs to do is focus on his recovery and look forward to 2025.

“It was a no-brainer for us as a promotion to have Tate back and I think it was an easy decision for Tate too.

“He knows how much he is loved in Workington, and I can only see 2025 being even more successful for him at Workington.”
