TIGERS: INTENSE SEASON AHEAD

GLASGOW manager Cami Brown believes an intense season of racing lies ahead as his team chases silverware in the Cab Direct Championship.

The Tigers fell agonisingly short of league title last October when they were beaten in a Super Heat decider after an epic Grand Final between themselves and Poole finished level after 30 heats.

Brown is excited for their 2026 prospects but says they will face strong early examinations in two other competitions before the league campaign gets underway.

He said: “There are no easy meetings, simple as that. I think we are in for some really intense battles again this season. 

“The boys have to hit the ground running because crucial BSN Series and MAXiCab KO Cup ties are in the first month. Plymouth are our Cup opponents and they look very solid. 

“I’m looking forward to seeing our new team on track. They are going to be highly entertaining, that’s for sure.”
