SCORPIONS SAFELY THROUGH

SCUNTHORPE booked their place in the BSN Series semi-finals with a 49-41 home win over Workington.

The Comets comfortably claimed the aggregate point which means they win the Northern group, but the Scorpions’ victory at the Eddie Wright Raceway assures them of the best runners-up total and qualification for the last four.

Michael Palm Toft led a solid Scunthorpe scorechart with 11+1 whilst Craig Cook notched ten for the visitors.
