ROWE LEAVING PIRATES

ANDERS Rowe has announced he will be on the move in the Championship next season as he leaves runners-up Poole.

Rowe increased his average to just under six during his first campaign with the Pirates, although he ended the league season on the sidelines after crashing out of their play-off encounter at Scunthorpe.

He wrote on social media: “It felt like I was home, but unfortunately I now know I won’t be back at Poole next season, which I am absolutely devastated about.

“But I got the call yesterday after being told I was 99.9% in the team, but sadly that 0.1% counts as I am now not in their team plans for 2024.

“Gutted is an understatement but the positive I can take from this is it’s been my best Championship season and the fans at Poole are loyal and amazing.

“My season at Poole will always be one to remember for more ways than one. So let’s wait and see where we go to now, time for my next adventure.”
