PREVIEW: REDCAR v OXFORD (CAB DIRECT CHAMP)

OXFORD manager Peter Schroeck is urging his team to bounce back when they visit Redcar in the Cab Direct Championship tonight (Friday).

The Cheetahs slipped to a damaging home defeat against Glasgow on Wednesday and are now looking to recover during a hectic weekend which also sees them make the long trip to Plymouth on Saturday.

Redcar bring in Max Perry as a guest at reserve for Jody Scott but are otherwise at full strength, and the Cheetahs are also unchanged from the Glasgow defeat.

The home side are yet to get off the mark in the league but did win at home last week against Plymouth in their dramatic MAXiCab KO Cup semi-final.

Schroeck said: “I know the boys want to hit straight back and they’ve got the opportunity to do so this weekend at Redcar and Plymouth.

“We take it one meeting at a time. It’s often very close when we go to Redcar and we want to make sure that it goes our way this time around.”
