PREVIEW: REDCAR v GLASGOW (C-KOC)

REDCAR boss Gavin Parr says the Bears are determined to build a lead from tonight’s (Friday) Championship KO Cup tie with Glasgow.

The sides meet at the ECCO Arena with the home side keen to bounce back from their BSN Series semi-final disappointment against Poole, whereas the Tigers did progress to the Final of that competition.

Steve Worrall guests at No.1 for the Bears with Erik Riss still ruled out, and Glasgow are at full strength.

Parr said: “I don’t know quite what happened with our gating as three nights previously we had outgated Poole quite regularly away from home, but they are a very good side.

“We can’t repeat what happened last week and the lads are determined to put things right, and that starts this Friday.”

REDCAR: Steve Worrall, Danyon Hume, Charles Wright, Connor Bailey, Danny King, Jason Edwards, Jake Mulford.
GLASGOW: Chris Harris, Marcin Nowak, Benjamin Basso, Claus Vissing, Tom Brennan, Lee Complin, Ace Pijper.
