POSTPONED: POOLE v PLYMOUTH (BSN SERIES)

POOLE’S BSN Series clash with Plymouth on Wednesday has fallen victim to the weather, due to rain at Wimborne Road. A new date for the fixture is to be confirmed.

POOLE are looking to complete an unbeaten home group in the BSN Series when they host Plymouth tonight (Wednesday).

The Pirates raced to a big win over Oxford in their opener on Good Friday and can take further control of the section with victory against the Gladiators.

The hosts are unchanged whilst the visitors are in action for the first time this season with former Poole riders Kyle Newman, Joe Thompson and Anders Rowe (guesting for Nico Covatti) in their side.

Poole promoter Dan Ford said: “Our lads performed extremely well as a unit in what was their first outing as a team, and there were so many positives to take from that meeting.

“Clearly, we are not going to hit 60 every meeting but it is a priority to continue to make Wimborne Road a real fortress, and once again get another one over our Devonshire cousins.”
