PREVIEW: PLYMOUTH v REDCAR (Cab Direct Champ)

PLYMOUTH finally get back to home track action tonight (Tuesday) as they host Redcar in the Cab Direct Championship at the Coliseum.

The Gladiators welcome back Ben Barker following his third place in Monday’s Sports Insure British Final whilst Lee Complin replaces the injured Dan Thompson.

The visitors are on a two-day Southern tour and include Luke Harrison once again as a guest for Jake Mulford.

And in-form Bears reserve Jason Edwards feels his side can take advantage of Plymouth’s recent inactivity at home, as they have not raced at the Coliseum since June 20.

Edwards said: “Plymouth have made a hell of a lot of changes since their last home meeting and that does give us a massive advantage over the Gladiators as their home track isn’t actually their home circuit, as they’ve got a different team and haven’t had a meeting there for months!

“The Edinburgh meeting (Friday) was a really good meeting, we didn’t drop many points between the seven of us and there’s more to come from the boys ahead of tonight’s match against Plymouth and tomorrow’s match against Poole.”
