PREVIEW: PLYMOUTH v POOLE (BSN SERIES)
POOLE aim to make it three wins out of three in the BSN Series when they visit Plymouth tonight (Saturday).
The Pirates were 58-32 winners over the Gladiators at Wimborne Road on Wednesday, and victory on the road would be a further step towards the semi-finals for the defending holders.
Lasse Fredriksen misses the meeting for the hosts as he has been called up for the European Pairs, with Zaine Kennedy coming in to guest.
Poole promoter Dan Ford said: “There is no doubt that Plymouth will be providing a sterner test for us on their home patch than they managed at our place on Wednesday, but victory there is certainly not beyond us.
“It’s a place where our team this season have all, individually, with the exception of Matt (Marson) who is still finding his feet, enjoyed decent performances in the past.
“Whilst I know they have made some further changes to the track over the winter we will head there knowing we have a job to do, a job that we are more than capable of delivering on.”
PLYMOUTH: Nicolai Klindt, Alfie Bowtell, Mitchell Cluff, Joe Thompson, Ben Barker, Zaine Kennedy, Ben Trigger.
POOLE: Richard Lawson, Tobias Thomsen, Anders Rowe, Zach Cook, Lewis Kerr, Paul Starke, Matt Marson.
SCB Referee: Chris Durno
