PREVIEW: PLYMOUTH v POOLE (BSN SERIES)

POOLE boss Neil Middleditch is keen to maintain the momentum when his side visit Plymouth in the BSN Series tonight (Tuesday).

The Pirates have already qualified for the semi-finals as group winners but are looking to complete a 100 per cent record in the section after three wins out of three so far.

Both teams operate rider replacement with Anders Rowe sidelined by a shoulder injury for Poole, whilst Plymouth are without Richie Worrall who is racing in a Speedway Euro Championship qualifier in Italy.

Middleditch said: “Obviously after Wednesday night’s performance we have a lot of confidence, but we all know it is going to be a different proposition on Tuesday, not least because they will be feeling sore from the size of the defeat we inflicted on them, but also because they are going to be strong on their home track.

“But then again, we have riders that have in the past scored big there, so we shall head on down there without any fears.

“If we make the starts then there is no reason why we shouldn’t believe we can keep this run going.”

PLYMOUTH: Kyle Howarth, Richie Worrall R/R, Dan Gilkes, Paul Starke, Ben Barker, Jake Turner, Ben Trigger.
POOLE: Steve Worrall, Anders Rowe R/R, Ben Cook, Zach Cook, Richard Lawson, Kyle Newman, Adam Roynon.
