PREVIEW: OXFORD v PLYMOUTH (BSN SERIES)

OXFORD have the chance to take over at the top of the Southern section of the BSN Series when they host Plymouth at Cowley tonight (Wednesday).

The Cheetahs dropped points to Poole in their last home encounter in the group but then saw the Pirates miss out at the Coliseum last weekend, a venue where Oxford had previously been successful.

Peter Schroeck’s side are at full strength for the meeting with the Gladiators, who have Chris Harris guesting for Nicolai Klindt at No.1 due to a Danish League commitment.

Schroeck said: “We’ve already won at Plymouth, after an excellent performance down there.

“On Wednesday, any margin of victory will be enough to take all three points, including the aggregate point and further strengthen our position in the BSN Series. But we won’t rest on our laurels or take anything for granted.

“The Cheetahs have been going well so far this season. We haven’t lost over 15 races, and we want to keep up that momentum.”

OXFORD: Sam Masters, Jonas Knudsen, Jordan Jenkins, Dan Gilkes, Cameron Heeps, Mitch McDiarmid, Luke Killeen.

PLYMOUTH: Chris Harris, Alfie Bowtell, Mitchell Cluff, Joe Thompson, Ben Barker, Lasse Fredriksen, Ben Trigger.

SCB Referee: Christina Turnbull
