PREVIEW: GLASGOW v BERWICK (Cab Direct Champ)

GLASGOW and Berwick meet twice in the space of 24 hours with five Cab Direct Championship points up for grabs – starting at Ashfield tonight (Friday).

The Tigers go into their home meeting fourth in the table but with matches in hand on the three sides above them, whilst the Bandits are eighth after last week’s home defeat to Birmingham.

Glasgow operate rider replacement for Marcin Nowak, who has a Polish fixture clash, whilst Berwick track a full one-to-seven with Jacob Hook included having rejoined after injury in place of Jonas Knudsen.

Bandits boss Kevin Little said: “Jacob is fit, ready and raring to go and, to be honest, if it had not been for his injury the Bandits’ No.6 slot was his.

“We are excited to see a full squad take to the track this weekend.”

GLASGOW: Chris Harris, Marcin Nowak r/r, Benjamin Basso, Claus Vissing, Tom Brennan, Lee Complin, Ace Pijper, Callum Foy (no.8).
BERWICK: Rory Schlein, Steve Boxall, Jye Etheridge, Leon Flint, Hans Andersen, Jacob Hook, Connor Coles.
