PREVIEW: EDINBURGH v POOLE (BSN SERIES S/F)

EDINBURGH boss Alex Harkess hopes home advantage can prove key for his side as they face the first leg of their BSN Series semi-final against Poole tonight (Friday).

The Monarchs have called up Chris Harris to guest for injured No.1 Dan Thompson and know a good result at Armadale is vital to their chances against the in-form Pirates, whose reserves Will Cairns and Cooper Rushen have both recorded sensational results of late.

The visitors bring in Tate Zischke to guest for the injured Fraser Bowes as they seek to put themselves in position for the second leg at Wimborne Road on June 10.

Harkess said: “Poole are strong throughout their side of course, with heat leaders who are good everywhere, and when you add to that two reserves on very low points averages then it is obviously going to be a tough test for anyone.

“We’ve just got to try and use Armadale to our advantage.”

EDINBURGH: Chris Harris, Jonatan Grahn, Justin Sedgmen, Paco Castagna, Kye Thomson, Mitchell Cluff, Jordy Loftus.

POOLE: Richard Lawson, Tate Zischke, Lewis Kerr, Kyle Newman, Zach Cook, Will Cairns, Cooper Rushen.

SCB Referee: Willie Dishington
