POSTPONED: POOLE v EDINBURGH (Cab Direct Champ)

POOLE have made an early call to postpone their Cab Direct Championship clash with Edinburgh on Wednesday.

Promoter Dan Ford said “We had heavy rain overnight and I have been down to the track to look at how things stand. If there were absolutely no more rain then there would have been a chance for the track to have dried and made it possible for us to have got a meeting on. But the forecast is far from promising and any further rainfall is just going to render the track unrideable.

“I can assure everyone that making these calls is not easy. We do not believe in wasting fans’ time and causing unnecessary journeys for the riders and so we always look at the bigger picture, and as things stand the chances of us having a rain-free day are slim. It is so frustrating for everyone concerned.”
