POSTPONED: OXFORD v POOLE (CAB DIRECT CHAMP GRAND FINAL)

OXFORD and Poole will have to wait an additional 48 hours to kick off the Cab Direct Championship Grand Final.

Following the heaviest rain in Oxfordshire for 56 years, and further rain this morning (Wednesday), tonight’s scheduled first leg at Cowley has been postponed.

It means the Pirates will now stage the opening contest in the title decider at Wimborne Road this Friday.

The Oxford leg has been re-arranged for Saturday October 5 (7.30pm).
