PIRATES RETAIN WESSEX MARINE BACKING

DEFENDING league champions Poole have extended their title sponsorship arrangement with locally-based boat dealer Wessex Marine.

The long-time backers of the club have been alongside the Pirates throughout their latest run of success, which includes the Cab Direct Championship title in four of the past five seasons.

Promoter Dan Ford said: “We are absolutely delighted that Wessex Marine are continuing as our title sponsors. They have been fantastic supporters of the Pirates for many years and their commitment to the club has been unwavering.

“David and Guy (Adams) are true speedway people and brilliant backers of riders at all levels, from those just starting out in their careers, right through to Grand Prix stars.

“Their support goes far beyond sponsorship, and having Wessex Marine alongside us again is hugely important as we look ahead to another exciting season.”
