PACO’S BACK FOR MONARCHS

EDINBURGH captain Paco Castagna is heading back for a fourth season at Armadale in 2025.

Castagna took over as skipper of the Monarchs this year and is targeting further improvement personally – after adding nearly two points to his average – as well as team success in the Cab Direct Championship.

He said: “I’m super, super happy to be back for my fourth year. It has been three good years with very good people.

“I’m looking forward to being in the team again next year. It looks like it has got lots of potential – some new faces, some old faces – I’m very much looking forward to it.

“I am proud to be named captain again and everybody saw how much I loved it this year and how much it improved my game.”
