MOUNTAIN IS THIRD SCORPION

SCUNTHORPE have announced Connor Mountain as their third confirmed signing for the 2026 season.

Mountain will be going into his fourth year at the Eddie Wright Raceway and he joins newcomers Josh Pickering and Ryan Ingram as the Scorpions look to mount a challenge in the Cab Direct Championship.

Manager David Howe said: “I spoke to Connor at the end of the season, and we were both in agreement about where we wanted the club to go.

“Like myself, he wanted a No.1 who could fight in the big heats, and when I said where we were looking [Pickering], he was happy to be part of it.

“With the way we are building the team, I wanted someone solid and who I can depend on to strengthen the middle order, and Connor is perfect for that.”
