HOME WIN FOR BANDITS

BERWICK moved up to sixth in the Cab Direct Championship table with a 53-37 win over Plymouth at Shielfield Park.

The Bandits still have hopes of finishing higher with home and away fixtures to come against Workington next weekend.

Late-season signings Jonas Jeppesen and Nick Morris both scored double figures with 12+2 and 10+1 respectively, whilst captain Drew Kemp marked his elevation to the No.1 position with 12+1.

Scott Nicholls picked up 11+3 from six rides for the Gladiators, whilst reserve Alfie Bowtell also worked hard for 11+1.
