HEEPS BACK AS CHEETAHS COMPLETE

OXFORD Cheetahs have announced a return for Cameron Heeps along with three new signings to complete their 2025 line-up.

Dan Gilkes, who was a regular guest for the club in the latter stages of this year, now joins full-time along with former Berwick and Redcar rider Jonas Knudsen.

The Cowley club’s Cab Direct Championship side is completed by Australian youngster Mitchell McDiarmid, who will be making his debut in British Speedway.

Manager Peter Schroeck said: “Dan is a great guy with a very professional approach. He has done a brilliant job for us in the past, and I don’t think we have seen the best of him yet.

“Jonas is another young up and coming rider who has shown great form at times, and at just 16 years old, Mitch is a young man very much in demand.

“I am sure he will settle in really quickly with Sam (Masters), Cameron and Luke (Killeen) to support him.”
