DATES FOR BSN FINAL

GLASGOW and Poole have agreed dates for the BSN Series Final.

The two sides qualified by overcoming Scunthorpe and Redcar respectively in the semi-finals, and will commence their battle for the silverware at Ashfield on Friday June 30, with the return at Wimborne Road on Wednesday July 5.

The latter date was originally earmarked for a Cab Direct Championship league match between the sides, which has now been switched to August 23.

Poole promoter Dan Ford said: “We are using our planned home league date to give us the best chance of getting the competition completed as early as possible as that was always the intention when the league introduced it.

“It also means that Glasgow can field their full side as it doesn’t affect the Danish League, where they have a couple of riders competing. 

“We have also taken that into account with the rescheduling of the league fixture.”
