TOP British prospect Dan Thompson has announced he is leaving Plymouth ahead of next season.

Thompson enjoyed an excellent 2024 campaign with the Gladiators, pushing his Cab Direct Championship average up to well above seven to become a genuine heat leader at that level.

He said: “It has been an incredible experience, and I am truly grateful for how welcoming everyone has been over the past year.

“The decision to move on was not an easy one, and I want to extend my sincere thanks to the Plymouth management and fans – I have enjoyed every moment with them.

“My choice to join another club is solely to gain more experience on a different track, which I believe will greatly benefit my development and progress in the long term.”
