COMETS MOVE FOR ZISCHKE

WORKINGTON have captured the signing of highly-rated Australian youngster Tate Zischke for their move into the Cab Direct Championship next season.

18-year-old Zischke is a protégé of fellow countryman Darcy Ward and will make his debut in the UK, although he does have experience of European racing from his appearances for Leszno in the Polish Under-24 Ekstraliga.

Comets promoter Andrew Bain sad: “We’re delighted Tate is a Comet for 2024! When Darcy Ward calls you and tells you about a ‘wonder kid’ you can’t ignore that.

“Everything we’ve seen and heard about Tate is exceptional. His progress in just a few short years is unbelievable and I’m sure the wide bends and open spaces at the Northside track will suit him down to the ground.”
