CHEETAHS WIN ON THE ROAD

OXFORD duo Scott Nicholls and Sam Masters recorded a last-heat 5-1 to seal a 47-43 win at Plymouth in the Cab Direct Championship.

The Cheetahs got off to a bad start at the Coliseum and were ten points down after five races, but they gradually forced their way into the meeting and levelled in Heat 13 before going on to seal victory.

Masters racked up 15+1 from six rides for the visitors, who had already confirmed their play-off place, whilst the Gladiators had three riders in double figures but lacked support for Dan Thompson (12+1), Ben Barker (12+1) and Joe Thompson (12).
