BRENNAN LEAVING POOLE

POOLE star Tom Brennan has announced he will step away from racing at Cab Direct Championship level next season.

Brennan won a trophy treble in his first campaign at Wimborne Road this year whilst also impressing in the top-fight and increasing his racing commitments on the continent, leading him to take a similar decision to Pirates captain Ben Cook.

Said Brennan: “I’ve had a lot of fun during my time in the Championship since 2021 and have learnt a lot in my time representing Eastbourne, Glasgow and Poole.

“However, there comes a time where I have to take the jump to try and do what I think will progress my career the most, and unfortunately dropping the Championship is part of that.

“I couldn’t have wished for a better way to end my time in the Championship than completing the treble with Poole.

“I’ve made no secret that my time with the club has been extremely enjoyable and a large part in teaching me a different way of racing and my improvement this year.”
